Between matter and silence.
Abstract painting and music speak the same language.
One unfolds in space, the other in time. Both are organised through rhythms, silences, pauses, tensions and resolutions.
A line, a relief or a cube can suspend the gaze just as a note suspends listening. Emptiness becomes breath. Material becomes rhythm. Sound extends the pictorial gesture.
